🚐 Stranded with our van in France…

Not everything goes according to plan on the road… Our van broke down in France and needs major repairs. It’s being towed all the way back to the Netherlands. Definitely a setback, but don’t worry, we’re okay! 💪

The adventure is just hitting pause for a moment, not a stop!

Back on the Road? Soon!

We’re lucky enough to have a replacement vehicle for next month, so we can still keep our promise to do a farm house-sit in France until the end of September.

We will take care of 2 cats, 2 dogs and 4 horses!! 🙀 Ros will be able to make a lot of new friends!

After that, in October, we’ll have to head back to NL for a reset. A detour in the story, but the adventure continues!

🐱 Kitten Update

Remember the little kitten we found before leaving the Netherlands? Good news: he’s almost adopted! 🥳

We thought about keeping him, but with our travels it just wouldn’t be fair for Ros.

Plus, apparently he’s a little rascal. We’ve been in contact with the person who’s taking care of him, and she told his he keeps stealing the milk from his fellow cats 😹 That sounds very much like Ros…

Probably not the best match for Ros... We’re sure that if the timing is right Ros will find a new friend!

🐾 New Friend: Clover

In our current spot, Ros has made a new cat-friend named Clover!

They’re actually getting along really well, which is amazing to see. We thought about letting Ros stay in the van as much as possible, but with the van breaking down we kind of had to let Ros sleep inside the same house as Clover. But after a few days, they really started to like each other 🥹 There are lots of dogs in the neighborhood too, and Ros has been bravely trying to protect Clover from the “big scary woofs.” Too cute. ♥️
